A South African comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor, and television host, Trevor Noah made his fame for being the host of The Daily Show, an American satirical late-night talk show. Born a Crime is his autobiography published in 2016, in which he reminisces about his childhood growing up in South Africa after he was born of an illegal interracial relationship during the Apartheid era.

Like Oprah Winfrey, Noah has recently geared towards discussions on spirituality, meaning of happiness, and the building of community. Interviewing monks and publishing a children's book about friendship, this transformation shows Noah's maturing journey, together with acknowledging the problems that institutional racism brought, but ultimately looking for reconciliation rather than attaching to hate.
