My IBDP English journey started extremely rough, and I didn’t know how to tackle unseen texts and annotate literature strategically. I have never been really confident about my English ability when completing the IBDP program. IBDP English was a very difficult subject for me. However, Miss Jamie gave me a lot of resources and personalised feedback which helped me feel more confident in this subject. At the start of Year 10, when we first started doing IGCSE English, I didn't feel very confident so I felt like I needed more support outside of school. One thing I found really helpful about  Miss Jamie's course is that she really focuses on breaking down exam techniques and writing strategies that teachers in school often do not teach or do not teach in depth. I am also very thankful for all the resources that she has provided, including exemplars from other students.

Miss Jamie's teaching style is clear and straightforward, making it easy for me to identify the areas I need to work on. I also find her lessons enjoyable and engaging, which made the process of preparing for exams less stressful. Whenever I reach out for help, Miss Jamie never hesitates to offer her support, which really shows her dedication to her students.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Miss Jamie. I believe what makes Miss Jamie a good teacher is her willingness to communicate with students.
