Throughout my IGCSE journey, Miss Jamie was able to teach me how to structure my answers properly and effectively. With her guidance, I was able to analyse the techniques and literary devices in the passage during my exams effectively. My analytical skills significantly improved after learning her tips and tricks on how to spot and formulate my responses.

Jamie’s teaching style is very casual and interactive. She encourages us to ask questions and patiently explains to us how to answer the questions in the most effective way. Jamie also ensures that everyone can keep up with the pace so she often stops and asks us if we’re following to make sure we understand the content.

I think Miss Jamie has helped me a lot, such as reading her two helpful publications, and getting loads of useful feedback from her has assisted me in achieving a good grade in my FLE. Not only can I learn so much in her classes, but it is also fun and interactive, making me look forward to her class every week! Last but not least, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Ms Jamie for shaping me into who I am today.

At the start of Year 10, when we first started doing IGCSE English, I didn't feel very confident so I felt like I needed more support outside of school. My friend very kindly introduced me to Miss Jamie. Miss Jamie gives us a lot of resources that are very useful to help us score maximum marks needed for exam. One thing I found really helpful about  Miss Jamie's course is that she really focuses on breaking down exam techniques and writing strategies that teachers in school often do not teach or do not teach in depth. I am also very thankful for all the resources that she has provided, including exemplars from other students.

Miss Jamie's teaching style is clear and straightforward, making it easy for me to identify the areas I need to work on. I also find her lessons enjoyable and engaging, which made the process of preparing for exams less stressful. Whenever I reach out for help, Miss Jamie never hesitates to offer her support, which really shows her dedication to her students.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Miss Jamie. I believe what makes Miss Jamie a good teacher is her willingness to communicate with students.
