I am very grateful to Ms Jamie for teaching me both IB English Language and Literature and TOK. I only started her tutoring quite late, just before the second year of IB, and I had been struggling with how to approach both Paper 1 and Paper 2 effectively. Her lessons and teaching helped me grasp the writing techniques that were key to scoring high on the English papers. Her detailed feedback and high scoring exemplars were extremely helpful in improving my writing and building my confidence. In TOK, she helped me look beyond the question and think more deeply about knowledge, which made my ideas more thoughtful and well-developed.

我上堂時學到寫作技巧，因為一開始我不知 Paper 1 及 2 的要求，但我覺得Ms Jamie 教的技巧符合 IB 的風格，令我學會寫及組織論文 。Paper 1 unseen 找文學手法都更敏感 。

（關於 Paper 2 滿分）我覺得是專注在比較與對比上 。你有教我們看新課程大綱，重點要放在 Criterion B 。寫 prototype 時，你亦不斷提點我們要加比較與對比，確保整篇論文連貫，變一個長篇的分析 。到我答題目時，就不用死背，可以靈活地寫 ！我選擇了 Stylistic 那題，比較有彈性，寫了 Narrative 及 Dramatic forms 。
