IBDP English A Language & Literature SL - Level 7

I sought additional support with Miss Jamie midway through Y12 realizing I have not been making any progress in English. I was determined to secure a higher grade, and was introduced to Miss Jamie from family friends. I initially expected Miss Jamie to be a strict tutor, but after my first lesson, I found her to be the exact opposite. She was funny, relatable, and lessons with her have always been a blast with her constant jokes and encouragement. I was able to relate to her in many aspects, she seemed like a close friend, making the whole learning process so much more motivating. Under her guidance, I was able to identify my specific strengths and weaknesses, and developed the ability to deconstruct English paper 1 systematically and tackle IB English with confidence and passion.

在十二年級（Year 12）中途，我報讀Miss Jamie的英文課堂，因為我想得到更好的成績；我發現學校無法令我的英文明顯進步，因此透過家裡的朋友介紹認識了Miss Jamie。一開始我以為她會非常嚴格，但第一節課後，我發現她恰恰相反。她很幽默，時不時開玩笑，讓我們的課程保持活力。她確實幫助我改善整個英文學習過程，讓這段旅程變得更加有動力。最終，我能拆解 IB English 的學習內容， 特別是卷一，這是我主要的弱點，讓我以熱情與信心完成 IB 英文之旅。
