In preparation for my IGCSE English Language and World Literature papers, Ms. Jamie provided me with constructive guidance, exam techniques and addressed my weaknesses. Her teaching method was extremely helpful, eventually enabling me to secure A*s in both subjects.

跟家長們溝通時，常遇到的其中一題問題是：「狀元是否真的很勤力，每天不眠不休地讀書？」 在我接近十年的IB教學生涯裏，教過不少成為狀元的國際文憑預科課程（簡稱IBDP）學生，我可以肯定的告訴大家，這些學生全都很勤力，但還是會有一般年青人的喜好，不同的是他們較其他同學更懂得有效管理時間。
